ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cybercrimes Wing on Wednesday confirmed the presence of groups involved in production and distribution of child pornography within the country.
FIA Cybercrime Wing head Captain (retd) Mohammad Shoaib said that there are proofs regarding such cases and that the accused have been arrested by the relevant authorities.
“There are four cases registered relating to child pornography and accused involved in all the cases have been apprehended,” Shoaib said.
The cybercrime wing head further said that the complaints of all cases registered in the country came from abroad and that members of international gangs involved in child pornography operate in Pakistan.
He also revealed that members of such gangs are educated and well-versed in English language.
